Welcome to HAMOC-interne

The HAMOC project (Holocene North Atlantic Gyres and Mediterranean Overturning dynamic through Climate Changes) is a french ANR research project producing robust geochemical proxy reconstructions in key regions of the North Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea for the past 11,500 years by using paleoceanographic proxies of Sea Surface Temperature (SST), geochemical water mass tracers, as well as novel tracers recorded in precisely dated cold-water corals.
